Gratuity = 15 ÷ 26 × last drawn basic + DA × completed years of service (six months or more count as a full year). ₹50,000 a month for 10 years = ₹2,88,462. It is tax-free up to ₹20 lakh, and you qualify after 5 years of continuous service.
