About paysums

paysums is a set of free pay and tax calculators built to answer one question fast: how much of my pay do I actually keep? Every calculation runs in your browser — the site has no server-side logic, no accounts and no tracking of what you type. Once a page has loaded it works offline.

The tax tables are kept in one data file per country with the tax year on it, so the January updates are a data change reviewed against official sources, not a rewrite. See the methodology for exactly what is and is not modelled.
